Hi! I'm Emma,
Welcome — I’m truly delighted you’ve found your way here.
Whether you're planning the wedding of your dreams, celebrating the joy of a growing family, or simply exploring, I’m so glad our paths have crossed.
I’m a proud child of the '90s, raised on the serene shores of Waiheke Island — a place I’ve been lucky enough to call home since I was six months old. After some time away, I’ve returned to this island paradise with a renewed appreciation for its beauty and a deep sense of connection to its rhythm. It’s here that my heart feels most at ease, and where my creativity truly comes alive.
As a lifelong traveler, festival lover, and hopeless romantic, I find endless inspiration in the people I meet and the moments we create together. I’m currently planning my own wedding, with September 2026 circled on the calendar and excitement growing by the day. So when I say I understand the anticipation and emotion that come with these milestones, I mean it — I’m living them too.
My journey behind the lens began long before it became my profession. I still remember the thrill of purchasing my first camera in Year 7 — a modest little point-and-shoot that ignited a lifelong passion. From that very first click, I was captivated by the power of storytelling through imagery.
After finishing school, my desire to explore the world led me to a career as a flight attendant at just 19. I had the privilege of seeing extraordinary places and sharing unforgettable moments with incredible people — experiences that enriched my perspective and shaped the way I now approach photography: with presence, wonder, and a deep appreciation for life’s fleeting beauty.
When the world stood still during the pandemic, I found myself at a crossroads. Redundancy forced me to pause, reflect, and ultimately return to my first love — photography. What began as a leap of faith quickly grew into a thriving business. I started with maternity, newborn, and family portraits, and was soon booked months in advance.
As for weddings? I once swore they weren’t for me — too much pressure, too many moving parts. But everything changed in July 2022, when a couple I adore asked me to document their special day. I said yes... and found myself completely enchanted. The emotions, the energy, the quiet in-between moments — I was all in.
Today, wedding photography is not just what I do — it’s what I live for. From the early morning anticipation to the last song on the dance floor, every chapter of your day matters to me. I believe in capturing love honestly, artfully, and with the kind of intention that turns fleeting moments into timeless heirlooms.
It’s an honour to do this work, and I’m endlessly grateful to every couple who’s welcomed me into their world. If you’re drawn to genuine storytelling, heartfelt connection, and photography that feels as effortless as it does elegant — I’d love to connect.
Let’s create something truly magical together.
Emma
