I'm Emma, a local of Waiheke Island since I was 6 months old, and hopefully, your wedding photographer! Ive been shooting weddings since 2022 and have genuinely loved every moment of it. There's not many people that get to say they love every single part of their jobs, so I count myself lucky that I'm one of them.

WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK WITH ME
Most couples tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera. That’s completely normal.
My approach is relaxed and mostly documentary. I’ll quietly capture the real moments as they unfold, and when it’s time for family photos or a few portraits, I’ll gently guide you without making it a big production.
You get to enjoy your day. I’ll take care of remembering it.
I bring a very relaxed, calm energy to your day. I'll never push you to spend endless hours on portraits, or constantly drag you away from your loved ones to get 'the shot', you've spent a lot of time (and money) planning this once in a lifetime day, you should get to enjoy all of it.
As I've mentioned (more like humbly bragged about though let's be honest), I am from Waiheke Island, I consider myself a true local, having been here for 30 years! Waiheke isn't just somewhere I work, or a nice place to visit from time to time, it's my home.
Waiheke is such a special place to get married, and there’s something really meaningful about photographing weddings in the place that shaped me.
While Waiheke and Auckland are my home base, I’m always happy to travel for love stories anywhere in New Zealand or beyond.

DIFFERENT WEDDINGS NEED DIFFERENT COVERAGE
Some weddings are short and beautifully simple.
Some stretch from slow morning coffees through to a packed dance floor.
There isn’t a “better” option. Just what fits your plans.
Shorter coverage works perfectly for elopements, registry weddings, or intimate celebrations.
Longer coverage gives space for the in-between moments, the build up, and the party energy once everyone relaxes.
If you’re unsure what you need, tell me about your plans and I’ll help you figure it out, no pressuring you into extra hours that you don't need or upselling you on extra add ons - thats not how I roll. I want what's best for you.

A LITTLE REASSURANCE
We’re awkward in photos. Is that a problem?
Not at all. I keep things relaxed and natural. You won’t be stuck posing for hours, and my past couples have always said I make them feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Do you travel?
Yes. Waiheke and Auckland are my base, but I’m happy to travel. Travel fees are kept as low as possible, and if you're getting married somewhere that I am dying to shoot a wedding at, lets just say I have a cheeky little deal with your name on it!
How many photos do we receive?
You’ll receive a full gallery that reflects your day. I don’t cap it at a strict number. Generally you can expect around 100 photos per hour of coverage, however I’m known to be a bit of an overachiever and send way more than that.
Can we customise coverage?
Absolutely. Every wedding is different.
What happens if you’re sick or can’t make it?
It's never happened in 6 years, but if something unexpected happened I have a network of trusted professional photographers who could step in, and I would still handle the editing and delivery of your gallery.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
I know you’ll be excited to see them! Wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks, but I usually send a small preview within a few days so you have something to share and enjoy straight away.
When should we book?
Many couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular summer dates. If you have a date in mind it’s always best to get in touch early.
