A Fiordland Lodge Wedding in Te Anau
Jade and Dan’s wedding at Fiordland Lodge in Te Anau felt like something straight out of a dream. Surrounded by the dramatic Fiordland landscape and overlooking Lake Te Anau, the setting alone made the day feel incredibly special. It’s one of those locations where the scenery almost doesn’t look real, and it created the perfect backdrop for their celebration.
The day had so many fun moments woven into it. Jade even had an outfit change later in the celebration, which brought a whole new energy to the evening. One of the most unforgettable moments was their entrance, led by a saxophone player that instantly turned the atmosphere into a party.
And of course, no celebration like this would be complete without a little chaos in the best way. At one point a massive bottle of champagne appeared and before long it was being sprayed everywhere, with everyone cheering and laughing. It was the kind of moment that perfectly summed up the day. Pure joy, great friends and a couple who were completely in the moment.
Weddings like Jade and Dan’s are always incredible to photograph. Between the epic Fiordland scenery and the huge celebration energy, it was one of those days that felt unforgettable from start to finish.
